Foodies Guide: Tea Tree Crêperie

This month’s lunch was hosted at Tea Tree Crêperie. When I arrived, I was impressed by the decor. The logo’s motif was carried right throughout the restaurant. As a designer, I love to see places like this that pay keen attention to keeping the branding consistent.

Once my party arrived, we took advantage of their outdoor seating. It was sunny, and a perfect day for crepes. The trouble came when we had to order, there was so much variety the girls could hardly decide! The Tea Tree Crêperie, boasts a wide array of sweet and savoury crepes, from the expected to the not so expected. And if there isn’t a crepe for you just build your own!

As we waited for our orders, we had a front row seat to the crepe making, which kept us entertained. Then came the main event, yours truly ordered a pesto and brie crepe with an add in of bacon. The ladies ordered, ham and cheese, strawberry, and marshmallow. Of course, I got a taste of them all, and loved them, but I must say I was a little biased to my order. I loved the creaminess of the brie mixed in with the pesto and the saltiness of the bacon.

The service was one to speak of as well, the staff was friendly and we instantly felt like regulars. Overall, this month’s lunch pick was a great choice from the food to the staff, to the decor, it was a great experience. M*RKologie will definitely be retuning.
